Privacy at Parkizzle
Privacy Policy
This Policy explains how Parkizzle processes personal data when you visit parkizzle.com, create an account, publish or save a listing, purchase a publication plan, contact us or use Parkizzle Pro. It is structured around the information categories in the UAE Personal Data Protection Law.
Last updated: 24 July 2026
Who is responsible and how to contact us
Parkizzle, the operator of parkizzle.com, is responsible as controller for the personal data described in this Policy unless another notice says otherwise.
For privacy questions or to exercise a data-protection right, email support@parkizzle.com. Please write “Privacy request” in the subject line. General support is also available through the Contact page.
Personal data we process
The categories depend on how you use Parkizzle:
- Account and sign-in: email address, name, profile image, email verification status, information from your chosen sign-in provider, including the identifiers and permissions needed to connect your account, and records used to keep your account signed in and secure. If you use an external sign-in provider, it supplies the account information you authorise it to share.
- Listings and contact details: title, description, emirate, area, building or address, price, features, vehicle type, photos, precise map location, contact phone number, availability and publication status.
- Saved activity: listings associated with your account as favourites and the relevant timestamps.
- Publication and payment records: selected plan, amount, currency, payment status and payment references. Parkizzle does not receive or store your full card number; our payment provider handles checkout and card details.
- Uploads and promotions: uploaded images and their display settings, plus any public social-media post link, promotional code and verification date you provide when requesting a promotion.
- Communications: messages, email address and any other information you include when you contact support or report a concern.
- Technical, usage and security data: IP address, device or browser information, pages and features used, performance and error data, security information and map areas viewed.
- Parkizzle Pro: whether you are an owner or seeker; whether the enquiry concerns a sale, purchase or lease; the lease term where applicable; emirate, area and any area entered manually; number of parking spaces; an indicative price where the form requests one; name, optional company, email address, phone number and optional notes. We also keep an internal submission reference, the submission time and its review and publication status. To prevent abuse, we use your IP address without storing the address itself for this purpose. The resulting security check is used for no longer than 24 hours. Service providers may keep separate security logs under the schedules described below.
Please do not place passwords, identity documents, financial account details, health information or other sensitive personal data in a public listing, support message or Pro notes field unless we specifically ask for it through an appropriate secure process.
Where personal data comes from
We obtain personal data:
- directly from you when you register, publish, pay, save a listing, submit a Pro brief or contact us;
- from an authentication provider when you choose an external sign-in method;
- from other users or authorised representatives who provide information about you lawfully;
- from public pages when you ask us to verify a public promotional post; and
- automatically from your device and our service providers when you use the website.
Why we process data and the legal grounds
We process the relevant minimum data for the following purposes and grounds under applicable UAE law:
- Providing a requested service or taking steps before an agreement: creating and securing an account, publishing and managing a listing, showing saved listings, processing a publication purchase, responding to support, and receiving, reviewing and handling a Pro brief, including publishing an approved summary without contact details so interested users can contact Parkizzle about it.
- Your consent: where consent is required for an optional feature, non-essential measurement, direct marketing or sharing that is not otherwise necessary. You may withdraw consent as described below without affecting earlier lawful processing.
- Legal obligations: complying with valid legal requests, financial or record-keeping duties and data-protection obligations.
- Security and legal claims: preventing abuse, enforcing our Terms, protecting rights and systems, investigating incidents and establishing, exercising or defending claims where the law permits that processing.
If we later wish to use data for a materially different and incompatible purpose, we will give you the required information first and obtain consent where the law requires it.
What becomes public
Published listings can be viewed by anyone and may be indexed, copied or shared outside Parkizzle. Public fields may include the listing text, photos, price, features, emirate, area, building or address, precise map location and contact phone number. Map search results also expose the listing location and basic listing details.
Your account email and name are not intentionally displayed on the public listing page. However, a phone number, photo, description or address you publish may identify you. Deleting a listing removes it from Parkizzle’s active display, but copies made by others or retained by search engines may remain beyond our control.
A submitted Parkizzle Pro brief remains private unless the Pro team approves it for public display. A public Pro summary is limited to whether parking is offered or sought, the deal type, lease term where relevant, emirate, selected area, exact number of spaces and a listing reference. It does not include your name, company, email address, phone number, submitted price, notes or any location details you entered manually.
Who receives personal data
We disclose only the data reasonably needed for the relevant purpose to these recipient categories:
- The public and other users, for information you choose to publish in a marketplace listing and the limited information from a Pro brief approved for public display.
- Authorised Parkizzle personnel, who may access and manage Pro briefs and other records only as needed for their work and subject to appropriate confidentiality and access controls.
- Selected Parkizzle Pro counterparties or professional advisers, only where reasonably necessary to assess or pursue the opportunity you requested. Parkizzle does not publish a submitted Pro brief automatically or disclose the full brief through Pro Listings. We aim to share only the information needed at that stage and do not share contact or identifying details with a potential counterparty unless this is reasonably needed for the requested introduction or another lawful purpose described in this Policy.
- Hosting and other service providers, including providers for data and image storage, email delivery, analytics, performance monitoring and security.
- Authentication and payment providers: your chosen external sign-in provider, our email provider for sign-in links and messages, and our payment provider for checkout and payment processing.
- Map, social and messaging services: map providers when a map loads, a social-media provider when a public promotion link is checked, and a messaging or telephone provider when you choose to contact or share through those services.
- Professional advisers, authorities and transaction participants, where reasonably necessary for legal, security, accounting or corporate matters, to comply with law, or in a genuine merger, financing or transfer of the service subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice.
Providers may process data under their own privacy notices when they act independently, for example when you use an authentication, payment, messaging or other external service directly.
Processing outside the UAE
Some service providers may process personal data outside the UAE. The country varies by provider and service. You may ask us for current information about a provider, processing location and applicable safeguards.
Where UAE data-protection law restricts a transfer, Parkizzle will use a mechanism permitted by Articles 22 and 23 of Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, as applicable. This may include processing in a jurisdiction recognised as providing an adequate level of protection, contractual or other safeguards that provide an appropriate level of protection, or a statutory exception such as valid explicit consent where legally available. A third-party service you deliberately open may make its own transfers under its privacy notice.
How long we keep data
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the stated purpose, then delete or anonymise it unless a longer period is required for legal obligations, fraud prevention, security, payment records or claims. The main criteria are:
- account and authentication records are kept while the account or session is active and as needed afterwards for security or legal matters;
- listing, favourite and related photo records are kept while needed to provide these features, until you delete them or they are removed, subject to legal retention requirements;
- temporary image uploads that are not attached to a listing are scheduled for deletion after 24 hours; information about unfinished photo uploads may remain in your browser until you complete or clear them;
- payment records are linked to the relevant listing and may be removed when that listing is deleted; the payment provider may retain its own payment record under its legal duties and privacy notice, and any separate record required by law must be preserved for the applicable period;
- support, promotion, security, analytics and hosting records are kept according to the issue, legal need and applicable provider schedule; and
- a Parkizzle Pro brief is normally kept for up to 12 months from the date it is submitted. If the opportunity is still active at that point, we may keep the brief while we continue handling it. We may also retain particular information for longer where required by law or reasonably necessary for legal claims, security, fraud prevention or the exercise of legal rights. When no exception applies, the brief is deleted or anonymised after the applicable period.
Backups may retain a copy until they are overwritten under the provider’s schedule and are not intended for ordinary use. Retention periods for provider logs, support systems and backups vary; contact us for information about a specific record.
Security and personal-data breaches
We use proportionate organisational and technical safeguards, including access controls, encrypted connections, protections against abuse and security monitoring. Our providers also apply their own security measures.
No online service can promise absolute security. If a personal-data breach occurs, we will investigate, contain and remediate it. Depending on the incident, our response may include restricting access, preserving relevant evidence, assessing the risk to affected people, correcting the underlying controls and documenting the response. We will notify the competent UAE authority and affected people in the form and within the period required by applicable law when notification is required.
Your data-protection rights
Subject to the conditions and exceptions in applicable law, you may ask us to:
- confirm whether we process your data and provide information or a copy;
- provide portable data in a machine-readable format where that right applies;
- correct or complete inaccurate personal data;
- delete data or restrict its processing;
- stop processing for direct marketing and object to other processing where the law gives that right;
- withdraw consent at any time for future consent-based processing; and
- object to a qualifying automated decision and request human review.
Send a request to support@parkizzle.com from the email associated with your account where possible. Describe the data and right involved. We may request proportionate information to verify identity and authority before disclosing or changing data. Requests are handled without charge unless applicable law permits otherwise.
A right may be limited where retaining or processing data is necessary for legal obligations, another person’s rights, security or legal claims. If we cannot fulfil all or part of a request, we will explain the applicable reason where legally permitted.
Automated processing and profiling
Parkizzle does not currently make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you. Search filters, map results, sponsored visibility and basic security controls may automatically organise content or restrict repeated requests, but they do not decide whether you may enter into a parking transaction.
Parkizzle Pro briefs may be reviewed by authorised personnel. We do not automatically match counterparties, score opportunities, build marketing profiles or decide whether an opportunity proceeds.
If this changes, we will explain the logic and significance, provide required safeguards and offer human review and a way to contest the decision where the law requires it.
Cookies, browser storage and measurement
Parkizzle uses essential cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and protect the service. The listing form may temporarily save information about uploaded photos and their display settings in your browser so the photos can be restored after navigation or a refresh.
We use analytics and performance tools. These providers may receive information such as your IP address, browser or device information and pages viewed. Map providers receive connection information and the map area viewed when a map loads. You can clear browser data or restrict technologies through browser controls, although blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in or uploaded photos from being restored.
These analytics tools currently run when the website loads, and Parkizzle does not offer a separate analytics setting. Any future marketing subscription will be optional and will include a simple way to unsubscribe or opt out.
Children
Parkizzle is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. Do not create an account or submit personal data if you are under 18. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Third-party sites and services
Links and user-initiated actions may take you to authentication, payment, map, social media, messaging or other external services. Their privacy notices govern the data they process independently. Review those notices before providing information. This Policy does not cover a third party’s independent website or app.
Complaints to the authority
You may complain to the competent UAE data-protection authority without first contacting Parkizzle. The federal UAE Personal Data Protection Law identifies the UAE Data Office; references should be understood to include any successor authority responsible for those functions. A complaint should identify you, the controller, the processing you believe breached the law and any supporting correspondence or evidence, and should use the procedure published by that authority.
At the date of this Policy, we have not identified a dedicated public federal complaint form. Official information about the Data Office is available on the UAE Legislation portal. If no dedicated channel is published, you may ask the UAE Government portal to direct you to the current competent authority. A local or free-zone authority may instead be competent depending on the circumstances.
We would still welcome the opportunity to resolve your concern. Email support@parkizzle.com and we will review it.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when the service, providers or law changes. The latest version and effective date will remain on this page. We will provide additional notice, and obtain consent where required, before a material change takes effect for existing data.
